Today we are celebrating the sacrament of Holy Communion. In the Presbyterian Church we understand that Jesus invites all who love him to the Table which he has prepared for us. If you are a guest with us today, please join in this sacred, joyful sacrament.
Today Rev. Sarah Schmidt-Lee will be preaching and administering Holy Communion. She is the Pastoral Transition Coordinator of Lake Michigan Presbytery and in that capacity she is assisting our Pastoral Nominating Committee. Please welcome her to North Kent Church.

Mission Committee decided this year to add a clothing drive for men at the same time as the clothing drive for the Women’s Closet at the Women’s Resource Center. The Men’s clothing will be taken to the North Kent Community Service Center. Racks & a table are set up in the Teeuwissen Room
Please bring appropriate clothing for women and men for job interviews and for work. (Clean, no rips, no missing buttons, no stains, etc.)
Women: Skirts, blouses, good slacks, suits, sweaters, jewelry, belts, shoes, scarves
Men: Pants, shirts, sweaters, suits, belts, shoes
As a challenge to all of us, we suggest choosing (at least) one item to donate for each day of Lent.
PNC has been diligently working for the past few months, meeting almost weekly, to find a pastoral candidate for our church. About 8 applications have been received so far, but only 2 have been candidates that have met the qualifications, which we as a church membership began discussing last summer. We are excited about who we have seen so far, and are looking forward to a few more possible candidates in the next months. Please pray for us to continue the work that the congregation has charged us with.
