Per Capita time. The Presbyterian Church supports its organizational structure (Presbytery, Synod and General Assembly) with a Per Capita assessment on each member of the PCUSA congregations. The charge is made in January and this year we must pay $26.75 per member of NKPC. You can again help as in years past by making a special donation to the church for each family member. Please use your “Initial Offering” envelope for this purposes. Thank you for helping cover this special expense.
Sweetheart Brunch Save the Date: Attention men of the church! The Membership Committee needs your help preparing a Sweetheart Brunch for our ladies of the church on Sun., Feb 12. We will need help setting up (Sat., Feb. 11), serving, cleaning up and donating your favorite dish. The menu will be breakfast casseroles, fruits, muffins, coffee and punch. Contact Mike Nelson on how you can help.
Children. All children ages 4 to 10 are invited to join the Sunday school class following the Object Lesson. The topic is “Jesus Teaches Us to Pray” Matthew 6:9-15. Discusses how to pray and live out our prayers in the assurance of God’s grace.
Child Protection. For the protection of all, we ask that youth and children not use the loft unless they are supervised by an adult.
Giving Statements for 2016 are available on the table in the narthex. Please pick up your copy to save us the postage expense.
Youth Crew Sledding! We have rescheduled our January sledding for Sunday, January 29th. Hope to see you there! (Or we may just go bowling...)

LET’S DO IT – SEND OUR KIDS TO CAMP! We would again like to assist in sending all our children to Camp Greenwood this summer. You can help by contributing bottle/cans in the T-room or make a clearly marked cash donation. We can sponsor five (or more) children for about $2,000. Camp Greenwood is a very special place that greatly increases kid’s faith and we hope you will help our children attend.
SOUPER Bowl of Caring! NEXT SUNDAY, February 5th is our Souper Bowl of Caring. Please plan on bringing a can of soup or giving a check to help stock the NKCS food pantry to feed our neighbors!
