Stewardship Sunday is Novmeber 8, 2015 and a special dedication and pledge ceremony will be part the service.
Operation Christmas Child. We are again collecting items for the Christmas Child boxes which are due Sunday, November 15. There are boxes on the table in the fellowship room. Please fill these with toiletry items, socks, underwear, toys, and candy (but no chocolate). Take one of the forms to indicate if the box is appropriate for a boy or a girl and the intended age range. This also requires $7.00 for postage. Make the check out to NKPC. Cash is also acceptable. Once the box is filled return it to the table with the gender and age form taped to the lid of the box. We do have extra items for the boxes on the table, help yourself to these.
Winter Warmth Tree. Another of our yearly missions is the collection of new warm clothing for children to the age of 18. These donations are given to North Kent Community Services. They are looking for hats, mittens, scarves, jackets, snow pants, socks, underwear, pajamas, flannel lounge pants with t-shirts, undershirts and other similar pieces of clothing. These new items should be placed on or under the Winter Warmth Tree (mitten tree) in the narthex. Please have these donations to church by November 29. Thank you for your caring and generosity.
