It will meet for about an hour before the Sunday Service. We will be starting with a multi-session study titled “Embracing an Adult Faith” by Marcus Borg and Tim Scorer. There is a DVD accompanying the book to facilitate the discussion. This is not a Bible study, although the subject matter is relevant to our Christian faith and religion. The discussion is informal, and while helpful, it is not necessary to have read the book, chapter or chapters that are the focus of the day’s discussion. The group is open to all who want to attend. Your ideas and perspective are welcome and needed. Joy Bible Study will resume meetings the first Tuesday of October. The meetings last from 1:15 pm until 3:00 pm. We will start our studies with the book of Micah, one of the “Minor Prophets”. All are welcome. This week of September 6, 2015 through September 13, 2015
