WE HOST OUR FIRST FAMILY PROMISE GUESTS the WEEK of 11/24/19
                        --THIS IS THANKSGIVING WEEK---
Many of our guests may have plans for Thanksgiving weekend. Some perhaps will not. NKPC is planning a Thanksgiving dinner. SIGN UP TODAY to volunteer to host our guests coming for FAMILY PROMISE on the week of Thanksgiving.  Sign-up sheets on bulletin board in narthex for Sunday 11/24, Tues 11/26, Thurs 11/28 and Sat 11/30.  Wendy is coordinating food planning. Contact her for details.
Please sign up for the Family Promise training at website--
                  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090C4DAFAE29A1F58-called1
as soon as possible!  This is a onetime two hour training that everyone who is working on Family Promise is asked to participate in.  It is designed to answer all of our questions and help us better understand the program and how to interact with our guests.  It is suggested for everyone in the congregation, and is required for all who will be working closely with our guests.

PLEASE feel free to take home several sets of sheets or a batch of towels or some blankets and launder them, and return them to the plastic bins.  (We could use a few more bins.)  Please keep sheet sets together as sets...we don't have extra pillow cases!  (All our linens are being temporarily staged in the tweens classroom.)
We will be partnering with Tribes church, our neighbor across Kuttshill, and they are signing up volunteers, just as we are.  Please check out the Narthex bulletin board and take the opportunity to sign up to spend some time with our guests, to stay overnight, or to prepare a meal to share.  We drew Thanksgiving week, which means we will need more volunteers than we normally will have, so please sign up to help.  This mission gives us a real opportunity to actually get to know our neighbors, to see how we can help them get through a tough time in their lives.  It's often easier to write a check, but for this mission we need to get personally involved... hopefully that will mean as much to us as it will to our guests.  Thank you to all who are supporting this Mission.  Questions?--contact–Laura, Cindy or Deb A.

Let's wash the choir robes!  Contact Kathi to help!
