Flowers Sunday are dedicated to all young and never too old scouts.
Scout Sunday is this Sunday. We celebrate 26 years of partnership with our Scout Troop today. Troop 282 will be assisting with our service.
Per Capita time. The Presbyterian Church supports its organizational structure (Presbytery, Synod and General Assembly) with a Per Capita assessment on each member of the PCUSA congregations. The charge is made in January and this year we must pay $26.75 per member of NKPC. You can again help as in years past by making a special donation to the church for each family member. Please use your “Initial Offering” envelope for this purposes. Thank you for helping cover this special expense.
Sweetheart Brunch Save the Date: Attention men of the church! The Membership Committee needs your help preparing a Sweetheart Brunch for our ladies of the church on Sun., Feb 12. We will need help setting up (Sat., Feb. 11), serving, cleaning up and donating your favorite dish. The menu will be breakfast casseroles, fruits, muffins, coffee and punch. Contact the church office for more information on how you can help.
Children. This Sunday, because we have communion, children age six and older are invited to stay with their parents and participate in the service. Children five and younger may join the nursery/toddlers after the Object Lesson. There will be no Sunday School.
Child Protection. For the protection of all, we ask that youth and children not use the loft unless they are supervised by an adult.
Pastor Karen' email isPastor.firstname.lastname@example.org Her office hours are Monday - Wednesday 9:30 - 3 pm. Contact her for lunch or coffee.
Camp Greenwood registration is now open! As a partnering church with the Greenwood Ministries Association, all campers from NKPC get 10 % off their registration fee. Email Pastor Karen for a coupon code. Also register by March 15th to get an extra $15 dollars off!
LET’S DO IT – SEND OUR KIDS TO CAMP! We would again like to assist in sending all our children to Camp Greenwood this summer. You can help by contributing bottle/cans in the T-room or make a clearly marked cash donation. We can sponsor five (or more) children for about $2,000. Camp Greenwood is a very special place that greatly increases kid’s faith and we hope you will help our children attend.
SOUPER Bowl of Caring! TODAY, February 5th is our Souper Bowl of Caring. Please plan on bringing a can of soup or giving a check to help stock the NKCS food pantry to feed our neighbors!
