GOING to CAMP! The Greenwood tree in the narthex is starting to leaf out, and we need more of your green dollars to bring it to full growth and to send our kids to camp! Contribute to the NKPC Greenwood Scholarship Fund today!

The Garden Committee is also looking for volunteers to work with Chet on our outside landscaping in 2019.
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION SUNDAY Our annual celebration of all of the volunteers that make the work of NKPC possible is on Sunday, May 5th.
GRADUATION SUNDAY! Sunday, May 19, please come to recognize the achievements of our graduates: Elisa and David from high school, and Lauren and JP from college, and share in their excitement for their next adventures! Are there any others we have overlooked?
OPEN HOUSE! Everyone is joyfully invited to Elisa's Graduation Open House on Friday, May 24th from 5 - 9 pm. Food and festivities are being planned for Pastor Karen's backyard at 4273 Mohave Ct. SW Grandville, MI. (Those wishing to enter the NKPC fishing contest are also encouraged to bring their fishing poles and bait.)
THE 2019 NKPC FISHING CONTEST is now accepting entries!
We will be using Michigan's "Master Angler" records to score our fish and to compete against each other for a $50 prize and very important bragging rights! Submit your photo of your catch next to a tape measure to enter the contest. Multiple entries encouraged. Everyone is invited to participate. Entries accepted until October 20th.
2019 CHURCH DIRECTORY AND ANNUAL REPORT CORRECTION: The new directory is available for pick up on the table in the narthex. Please note that the NKPC 2018 annual report regretfully neglected to include the wedding of Virginia and Taylor on Saturday, May 26th, 2018. Please watch for the label attached to your copy of the new Directory and insert on page 19 of the Annual Report if you still have it.
CHURCH GARDENS. The snow IS going to melt and it will be time to start gardening. We are in need of someone to work with Chet to co-ordinate a watering/weeding schedule for the landscaping around the church. Also, it has been suggested that the gardening space created by the youth crew could become a learning lab with experienced gardeners sharing their expertise with newbie gardeners. If you are interested in this opportunity, please let Sally (facilities) or Jake (elder for youth) know.
LPGA TOURNAMENT VOLUNTEERS! The LPGA tournament will soon be upon us, and Presbyterian Women need all the men, women, and Youth Crew volunteers we can get to man our parking lot in the 2nd week of June, Thursday through Saturday, June 13, 14, and 15. Sign up schedule posted on the Narthex bulletin board. Laura is the best person to ask for information. Money raised will help fund Camp Greenwood scholarships. Thank you from your Mission committee.
