Today we are worshipping with our Boy Scout troop 282 today and are celebrating their good work as well as dedicating the new NKPC collection bins. CAMP GREENWOOD staff is also here to tell us about their summer camps! Everyone is invited to go sledding with the Youth Crew after worship today. ASH WEDNESDAY February 14th is Ash Wednesday and we will be participating in a combined service at First Congregational Church of Rockford (192 E Bridge St NE) at 6:30 pm along with Bostwick Lake Congregational. A combined choir will sing and the three congregations will be coming together again here at NKPC again on Maundy Thursday. Please plan on joining us for this special service of repentance and healing prayer. TROUBLED WATERS: A COMMUNITY WORSHIP SERVICE OF LISTENING, LAMENT AND HOPE On Sunday, March 18th at 4 pm, the community is invited to this service at Blythefield CRC church at 6350 Kuttshill Rd. Watching and hearing the deep concern and widespread effects regarding the contaminated water in our communities, we are coming together as concerned clergy and churches to bring this troubled matter to God in prayer. By hearing the stories of affected persons, hearing the words of Scripture, through song and prayer, we will lament the layers of trouble that are coming to light and pray together for God's help and healing. All are warmly welcomed.
