PRAYER SHAWL THANKS. Judy sends a special thanks for her prayer shawl, she had it with her for both of her back operations and was helped by the support it brought to her during her time of need. NKPC FISHING CONTEST UPDATE: Check out the photo of Chet's huge Pumpkinseed Fish in the fellowship hall. What fish can you enter to compete? Remember to take a photo of your fish next to a tape measure and send the photo to Pastor Karen to enter the contest. Winners are determined by percentage of Master Angler score. EVERYONE is WELCOME to participate! Multiple entries encouraged. Prayer Shawls: We are currently running low on prayer shawls! If you would be willing to knit or crochet one for NKPC to give away, please take some skeins of yarn, a pattern and even borrow some needles if you need them. Let's continue to make these beautiful ministry gifts! POTLUCK THIS SUNDAY JULY 7th We hope that you are thinking of your special dish from your family heritage or history that you would like to share with at the potluck on Sunday after church. Remember it can be simple like a package of windmill cookies or Mac and cheese! A Triad of Churches: First Congregational Church of Rockford, UCC Bostwick Lake, UCC North Kent Presbyterian Church Will meet together for worship at North Kent Presbyterian Church on July 7th at 10:00 am for a service filled with scripture, music and the stories behind some of your favorite hymns. Following the service, there will be a potluck in which you are invited to bring your favorite ethnic food to share in a time of fellowship with the three congregations.
