ANNOUNCEMENTS SUNDAY MORNING DISCUSSION GROUP. FALL 2018. Curriculum: “Painting the Stars, Science, Religion and an Evolving Faith “ - A 2013 Living the Questions Series. The goal is to listen and discuss a theme for each session. According to the study guide the theme of each session seeks to expose participants to observations and ideas that have been long held by scientists, theologians and many lay-people alike. One of the instructors, Dr. Barbara McClintock indicated that, rather than diminish our sense of awe and wonder, science can deepen our feeling for mystery. As much time can be taken on each session as deemed necessary or desirable. Initially we’ll take up one session per Sunday. And there is no homework that needs to be done before each session, as each session pretty much stands on its own. However, having participated in a session helps understand some of the concepts and the presentation process in subsequent sessions.
