Sunday Morning Discussion Group will begin the new season on October 2 using a highly recommended study guide provided by Presbytery. Living the Questions 2.0 is an open-minded alternative to studies that does not attempt to give participants all the answers and instead strives to create an environment where participants can interact with one another in exploring what's next for Christianity. Featuring thirty acclaimed scholars, theologians and other experts, each discussion will begin with a brief overview, watch/listen to a video, and then discuss the focus of the lesson. The material can be discussed in the order we want, and for as long as we want, and there are no right answers or exams. Each session is self-contained and there is no homework, so one can come when they can and not be worried about being behind. Everyone who likes to talk and discuss is welcome! NKPC’s Fall/Winter preparation and Cleanup: The time to prepare our church for fall and winter is almost here. The event is scheduled for October 1st, from 9 AM till Noon. A task list will be provided. Coffee and drinks and some edibles will be provided. As usual, there will be inside tasks and outside tasks identified so you have options. A significant focus this year will be cleaning the classroom in the loft area over the narthex which needs our attention. Let's make it a welcoming place for our youth to meet! Any questions, contact anyone on the Facilities and Stewardship Committee. Men's Fellowship: The next meeting of the Men’s Fellowship will begin at 8:30 AM on October 15, 2016, and is expected to end by 10 AM. We are hoping to have a guest speaker from Dėgagė Ministries for the October meeting. Come and enjoy the fellowship and build relationships! Marketing Team: A Church Logo? A New Tagline? Eye Catching Landscape? A New Front Sign? Maybe a name change??? Session is asking for interested people to be on the church marketing team to lead us as we discern how to best let people know about what God is doing here among us! Let an elder or the pastor know about your interest.
