North Kent Presbyterian Church Inclusion Statement
We the people of North Kent Presbyterian Church endeavor to welcome each person at the door of our church, regardless of whether they are a first time visitor or a lifelong member, and wherever they are on their faith journey. We invite them into full participation in the work of this church and to receive the love and grace of God, freely given. We welcome people of all races, economic backgrounds, marital and family status, gender, sexual orientation, or gender identity. As a mostly white, middle class congregation, we understand we are privileged and have a lot to learn to fully live out our welcome statement. As such, we promise to continue to learn how to be more welcoming using the resources of the PC(USA) to educate us in our worship services and our adult education classes.
